Everything is rhythm and rhythm is everything. In their magical garden filled with exciting sounds from around the world, the musicians Ingvo and Claudio (Tevana) meet the flamenco dancer Marina. She dances and twirls through the sound garden until sparks fly. However, when the music stops, Marina stands still: no movement without rhythm. The musicians want to bring her back to life. But what exactly is rhythm – and how do we find a common pulse? The audience is invited to cheer, sing, stomp, and clap along to rhythms from Spain, Cuba, and India. Takatá takatá is an interactive music and dance performance full of playful joy. Together with the artists, the young listeners discover, experience, hear, share, and feel their rhythm and rhythms from around the world. Marina, Ingvo, and Claudio bring a fusion of colorful Tevana compositions and high-energy flamenco dance to the stage. Their performance is captivating, boundary-crossing, and above all, distinctly rhythmic!
