Exhibition: Into the Unknown. Graz 1945-1965

The exhibition "Into the Unknown. Graz 1945–1965" at the Graz Museum, Sackstraße 18, will showcase from June 26, 2025, to April 12, 2026, how the city in Styria changed after World War II. Amidst the rubble and new beginnings, new life concepts, political ideas, and a different urban landscape emerged. The exhibition will feature photographs, everyday objects, and eyewitness reports that make life between scarcity and hope tangible. Unusual sources will also tell of the transformation in Graz – politically, socially, and culturally. A special highlight is a room styled in the 1960s: it invites visitors to linger and makes history directly experienceable.
