Upcycling Workshop "Freestyle Crocheting with Old Textiles"

We cut old textiles into strips and crochet them into slippers, bags, rugs, bowls... whatever the heart desires and the imagination allows!!! Due to the thickness of the fabric strips, the pieces have a solid structure, are very stable, and durable! And above all: old textiles that are no longer suitable for clothing collection because they are holey or stained are given new life!!! Super!!! The easiest to work with are thin, stretchy fabrics (e.g., from T-shirts, fitted sheets, etc.), but sturdier fabrics (e.g., jeans) can also be crocheted and reward the effort with a very firm shape.

And why "Freestyle"? Because the self-cut fabric strips are always a bit different, predetermined crochet patterns are rather obsolete. And once you start crocheting freely, you won't want to do it any other way! Don't worry – there will always be something!!! Crochet beginners are welcome too!!!
