Augsburg Philharmonic – Marc Bouchkov

The Augsburg Philharmonic presents a concert conducted by Domonkos Héja in the Great Hall of the Mozarteum. Marc Bouchkov performs the Violin Concerto No. 7 by Alexey Shor, which translates the late Romantic soloist aesthetic into a contemporary sound language. Mozart's "Six German Dances" KV 571 opens the program and embodies the rhythmic vitality of the Viennese Classical period. The concert concludes with Robert Schumann's Symphony No. 1 in B-flat major, the "Spring Symphony," as a hymn-like orchestral depiction of new beginnings. Tickets are available online.
