Johannes Enders Trio plays "Pharoah Sanders"

The Weilheim saxophonist Johannes Enders now pays tribute to this giant, who passed away in 2022, and the last living connection to John Coltrane, by naming his program "The Creator Has a Masterplan B," in reference to a famous Sanders title, alongside bassist Joris Teepe and drummer Gerne Calderazzo. Enders never succumbs to the temptation of trying to replicate the unique sound of his idol. While there are echoes of that influence in his tribute, he remains true to his own style throughout.
