Smago Award

The "smago! Award Austria 6.0 – 15 Years of smago! Award" will take place on April 8, 2026, at the Hohenhaus Tenne in Schladming. The award, founded in 2011 by the online portal smago.de (SchlagerMAGazin Online), is celebrating its "crystal wedding" anniversary.
Marc Pircher will once again host the evening and present his hit "Call Me Again When You're Single." Markus Wolfahrt will ignite the next anniversary fireworks with his "Klostertaler Hit Fireworks" – 50 years on stage! The AlpenRebellen, the original creators of the super hit "Rock mi," will celebrate a grand revival after their comeback. The Edlseer and Die jungen Zillertaler will also commemorate special anniversaries in 2026.
The Stoakogler will be honored with the "Legends Award" for their lifetime achievement. Making their debut: Matty Valentino, the Après-Ski star No. 1. Also on stage: Silvio Samoni and pop schlager icon Simone – a staple in the Austrian music scene for 35 years.
Traveling from Germany are the Rodensteiner, known for "Wind im Haar (Bella Italia)." A real sensation is promised by the duo Peter Orloff and Marion Maerz with the "Hit of the Year 2025" "Take a Look Inside (The Cup of Coffee)." Maerz, former wife of Frank Elstner, will make an exclusive return to the stage.
Vincent Gross will represent Switzerland and ensure a lively atmosphere.
Special guests Marianne & Michael are expected – honored in the "Lifetime Achievement" category.
