A HOMAGE: UDO JÜRGENS... ALWAYS JUST MUSIC

On the occasion of 60 years of "Merci Cherie"

Udo was grateful and approachable. Entertainment with integrity was the credo of the exceptional Austrian artist, who suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on December 21, 2014, during his tour "Mitten im Leben."

Robert Helbig was Udo Jürgens' personal assistant and friend, accompanying him on his tours. This homage is designed by Helbig as an evening of memories filled with unique stories and great music.

Helbig shares light-hearted, serious, and very personal anecdotes from his time as Udo's companion and friend. Johannes Lafer, singer & entertainer, will guide the evening and interpret the wonderful songs of Udo Jürgens in a personally charming manner. Dr. Michael Kahr will lead a gala ensemble from the piano, inspired by the wonderful arrangements of the Pepe Lienhard Band.
