Diary Slam in Baden

Bring out the old diaries! Those who are brave can read from them. Those who want to feel a bit of secondhand embarrassment can enjoy themselves in the audience.

At the Diary Slam, courageous participants read from their own diaries. The stories that life wrote are the main stars of the evening. It's a charming and hilariously funny journey back to one's own and others' childhood and youth. Between moments of embarrassment and the realization that today isn't much different from back then, a delightful fun develops. The winner is determined by applause. The prize is a voucher for Cinema Paradiso worth 1,000 schillings. Here's how to participate: Bring original diaries. Prepare two entries of a maximum of five minutes (the entries must be from more than five years ago!). Otherwise, just have fun! The evening will be hosted by Diana Köhle, an enthusiastic organizer of poetry slams and a diary writer from the very beginning.
