Voodoo Jürgens & die Ansa Panier will present themselves in 2026 as a revitalized and renewed live band. Rumor has it that Voodoo has been working on new material high up in northern Germany, where Heintje once sang about his "Mama." The first three Voodoo albums, "Ansa Woar," "`s klane Glücksspiel," and "Wie die Nocht noch jung wor," are all well-deserved classics of Austrian pop, and together they form a kind of Sturm & Drang trilogy of early Voodoo. Now, with album four, a rejuvenation of the sound is on the horizon; a departure in sound and vision. The lyrical palette is also set to be expanded, as the band aims to leave the cozy tavern for the big world out there, as well as the small world within, that of their own soul. The band feels that they have their best album, their greatest achievement, up their sleeve, and so one can expect a lot from Voodoo and his Ansa Panier live in 2026.
