Sometimes the title of a tour is so fitting that it hardly needs a press release — the name is the program, so to speak. "Songs that are funny and sometimes a little sad, but that's okay" (short: LDLSUMEBTADIO) is such a title, and yes: it is a bit unwieldy and long. But if you don't need a press release for it anyway, that cancels out, right!? After all, it would only contain something pulled out of thin air about "artistic development and gaining breadth," some rambling about "masterfully balancing 'funny and serious'" and buzzwords like "best of both worlds" or "sensitively funny." And since Blonder Engel has always been about the magic of the uniqueness of his concerts (in other words: because the Angel never sticks to the setlist and plays what he wants), such a rigid press release is essentially a misalignment of the theme. In this sense: immerse yourself in songs that are funny and sometimes a little sad. That's okay. Really!
