With one foot in London and the other in Vienna, the British-born Helena May captivates audiences with her powerful voice, infectious grooves, and vibrant stage presence. With an innate passion for soul, funk, and disco, May's journey showcases her evolution into a remarkable artist. Since 2014, May has been the singer for the 70s UK Soul Legends Kokomo (Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott's, Royal Festival Hall) and since 2016, the lead singer for the jazz-funk band Redtenbacher's Funkestra (606 Club, Ziggy's World Jazz Club, Porgy & Bess). Helena May released her debut studio album "Funkalicious" in 2021 – a collaboration with 19 Austrian and British musicians. The five singles "Diamond 101," "Funkalicious," "Struggle," "Sometimes," and "Trying" were released in 2021, ahead of the album "Funkalicious." "Puzzle Pieces" is May's latest single. This infectious, catchy song reveals the British talent laying her soulful, wild vocals over a bed of funk-pop-infused goodness.
