The Second-Class New Year's Concert! For the third time, we are not asking you to pay at the main box office for this New Year's concert, but at the second box office. Yes, "Second box office, please!" will delight, disturb, amuse, and annoy us and everyone else again this year. The era of high culture is over; it’s time for mainstream culture. So the new year is off to a good start.
Close your eyes and imagine locking Herbert Pixner, Gene Simmons, Terence Hill, Dolly Parton, and the Venus of Willendorf in a swinger club, letting a drag queen deliver the results, having Helmut Qualtinger as the godfather, and the band Die Toten Hosen playing brass music together with Wanda.
With this musical mélange, you will accompany the second-class people on their journey through the world of love, chatter, traditional attire, good and bad people. The world of newly discovered love in blue and yellow, counting mishaps, Mexico's revenge on the virus, laughter stuck in the throat of the Mediterranean, the escape from Bobologna, the delivered Vice Chancellor, the sing-along colonoscopy, the MELFs, and the law-buying house of Austria. The motto of the band: After the concert, everyone should go home offended. That a lot of laughter happens and the dreary holiday thoughts are blown away is a concert situation that is a win-win, no doubt about it.
Stampf (bass), Harry Hömstreit (guitar & bouzouki), Martin Scheer (drums), Corinna Pöchhacker (keys & ukulele), Matthias Steinperl (nose flute & words), and Franz Schaufler (hometown air compressor).
Admission: Pre-sale 24 EUR, box office 26 EUR, CP Card 2 EUR discount.
