Vocal/Fado With Fado Camões, LINA_ achieved an intimate engagement with the works of the Renaissance poet Luís Vaz de Camões. Together with British producer Justin Adams, she created a hypnotic work that blends classical Fado, blues, and African-influenced swing. Guitar virtuoso Pedro Viana and Ianina Khmelik on piano and synths complete the soundscape – also in concert. "Quando Vos Veria" seduces with distorted electric guitar and charmingly shimmering organ. In "O que temo e o que desejo," Latin rhythm meets playful bass and electronic drums – contemporary Fado at its finest. "Desamor" and "Se De Saudade Morrerei Ou Não," on the other hand, embody a more classical form of the genre. A new milestone in Fado has been created!

Lina Rodrigues was born in Hamburg in 1984 and studied singing at the conservatory in Porto. Under the name Carolina, she released the Fado albums "Carolina" and "EnCantado." For her acclaimed project with Catalan producer Raül Refree, she received numerous awards.
