Giant Rooks

Giant Rooks are finally going on a big tour again after two years, and they won't be skipping Austria! "The Future Is Cancelled" – or is it? The German indie rock quintet is set to make waves again in 2026 with new music and will also embark on a concert tour. After a year full of highlights, Giant Rooks are back with their new single "The Future Is Cancelled." Between delicate piano sounds and a gentle voice, a calm and reflective sound unfolds. A song that feels both contemplative and comforting, showing that Giant Rooks continue to bravely explore new paths without forgetting their roots.

After the album "How Have You Been?" was released in 2024 and immediately charted at number 1, followed by a successful tour of the same name, the five members retreated into creative work in 2025. In September, the band played two exclusive headline shows in Germany: their completely sold-out "Homecoming Concerts" in their hometown of Hamm. There, Giant Rooks danced between melancholy and euphoria with a total of 20,000 fans, friends, and family. They once again demonstrated the incredible energy that has taken them from the small Westphalian town around the globe.

Now, Fred, Jonathan, Luca, and the two Finns want to feel the tour atmosphere again and are returning to the halls and thus to the spotlight. They will do this in October 2026 at the Gasometer in Vienna!
