The people around Lake Wolfgang are not only very hospitable but also extremely musical. Every town has at least one orchestra, and in many taverns and inns, music is played spontaneously for enjoyment.
Once a year, the love for music is celebrated officially with a singers' and musicians' gathering. This year marks the 41st time, and because it’s only half as much fun doing it alone, friends of folk music from all over Austria are invited to Strobl.
