For over 25 years, the German soprano DIANA DAMRAU has been one of the most outstanding artists in the international opera scene. On the stages of the Metropolitan Opera, the Vienna State Opera, La Scala in Milan, and the Bavarian State Opera, she captivates both audiences and critics alike. Her extensive repertoire ranges from Mozart and Verdi to Richard Strauss and contemporary composers. In 2025, she celebrated her acclaimed debut as the Marschallin in "Der Rosenkavalier" at the State Opera Unter den Linden in Berlin. Numerous awards – including the Bavarian Maximilian Order, the Federal Cross of Merit, and the title of Kammersängerin of the Bavarian State Opera, among others – highlight her extraordinary career.
