Big names, big sound: The Janoska Ensemble dedicates "THE BIG B's" to legendary music icons starting with B – from Bach to the Beatles, from Beethoven to Bernstein. Among the pieces performed are the timeless "Air" by Johann Sebastian Bach, Beethoven's iconic Fate Symphony, a fiery Hungarian Dance by Johannes Brahms – who once spent summers in Carinthia – as well as Beatles classics like "Yesterday" and "Penny Lane." But other "B's" such as Georges Bizet, Leonard Bernstein, and Dave Brubeck also make an appearance – all in the unmistakable Janoska style: captivating, virtuosic, and surprising.
