Weber Market and Fiber Zone 2026

The well-known weaving market takes place every year on the last weekend of July in Haslach an der Mühl. The Mühlviertel, located in the north of Upper Austria at the border with Bavaria and Bohemia, has always been a linen weaving region, with Haslach being the center of local textile trade. The association Textile Culture Haslach continues this tradition, organizing an international weaving market, textile courses, and exhibitions since 1991.

The market is held in the oldest district of Haslach, in the winding alleys "auf der Stelzn," as well as around the old textile factory "Vonwiller," which is now home to the Textile Center Haslach. It primarily offers hand weavers, textile creators, and local weaving businesses a sales opportunity for their high-quality products, showcasing their unique quality to a knowledgeable audience. A professional jury selects around 100 exhibitors each year from numerous applications. ART AUSTRIA has awarded the Haslach weaving market a quality seal, ranking it number one among Austrian arts and crafts markets for years.

In parallel with the weaving market, the Fiber Zone also takes place, where yarns, small textile tools, and materials are sold.
