Star Thaler Carnival Parade

On February 14, 2026, Thal will become a carnival stronghold! Already by noon, the marketplace fills up, and there’s the first refreshment at the sausage party, hearty and in great spirits. Then it begins: with music, drum rolls, and colorful costumes, the merry procession sets off. From the town center, imaginatively dressed groups, floats, and musicians march through "Gepflegt Wohnen in Unterthal" to the Thalerei. Along the way, there is waving, laughing, and joking – because carnival in Styria thrives on togetherness. The route is manageable and easily accessible, perfect for families with children who want to join in the fun in costume or cheer from the sidelines. At the Thalerei, the grand finale awaits: a carnival party with music, dancing, and lots of fun. What matters is a good atmosphere and a bit of courage to dress up.
