After the success three years ago, the Academia Mellicensis is entering the next round: Over an intensive weekend, selected young talents will work together with renowned experts in historical performance practice to develop an exciting program, which they will present on the final evening of the Baroque Days.

This time, the orchestra academy is focusing on a rarely performed oratorio that takes us to the Viennese imperial court, where Johann Joseph Fux, as court composer, set new standards in music. Against the backdrop of the crucifixion of Christ, a gripping exchange unfolds between divine forces and the demon of evil, who are arguing over the salvation of a sinner's soul. A rediscovery that is worth it!
