Variety Identification Day & Experience Day at the Nature Workshop

Have you always wanted to know what variety your apple tree bears? Discover the taste of old apple varieties and have your apples identified by the experienced pomologist Martina Schmidthaler. Please bring at least 5-6 well-formed, ripe, average apples of each variety. For our younger guests, there is a special experience: pressing apple juice yourself! Fun for both young and old.

Apple samples can also be dropped off at the nature park office 2-3 days in advance. If you are interested, please register at 02712/20332 or info@naturpark-jauerling.at.

At the same time, the experience day will take place at the Nature Workshop Jauerling, where everything will revolve around the apple this time. A nature educator from the nature park will be waiting for you at the Nature Workshop Jauerling. She will be on-site from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering you and your whole family an exciting program. You can come by whenever you like. There is something for every age.

At the research station, you can gain fascinating insights into the world of small wonders with microscopes, for example, by examining a butterfly wing up close!

At the creative station, you can create unique artworks using natural materials, with this time focusing on the apple.

The nature park does not assume any supervisory responsibility.
We welcome voluntary donations for the nature park.
No registration is necessary. The experience day will not take place in case of heavy rain and storms.
