"Open House"

In the historic museum building "Winkelhaus," you can casually explore all the rooms and the courtyard on your own. But beware, time ticks significantly slower here in the museum. Once you step over the threshold into the museum courtyard, you embark on a time travel adventure, exploring many rooms where time has long stood still. A hint of Sleeping Beauty's slumber hangs in the air, and in the exhibition rooms, you will find countless objects from a bygone era. Some of the stoves may even be lit, providing a cozy warmth. Let your gaze wander; there is much to discover! Unlike other museums, you can freely look around the former living quarters and even handle some objects that were once part of everyday life. Noteworthy alongside the actual collection of the Nadelburg industries is the building itself, with its many vaulted kitchens. One of them may be the smallest in all of Europe, but even in our largest kitchen, the space constraints of the past are clearly palpable. My two great-grandfathers produced "wires as fine as horsehair" here in the wire drawing shop, and I would be happy to share that story and others related to this topic with you.
