She is one of the most colorful artists of the 20th century: actress, singer, author, and lyricist. A woman and artist marked by scandals who achieved her breakthrough with her role in the scandalous film "Die Sünderin" (The Sinner). Her career spanned several decades; she was in Hollywood, had roles alongside famous actors, but quickly returned to Germany. In the 1960s, she rapidly became an icon of German chanson with her smoky voice and profound lyrics.
