With his unmistakable sound, Parov Stelar has conquered stages around the world – from jazz clubs to the largest stages and festivals on all continents. Behind the pulsating electronic beats lies a versatile artistic spirit: Marcus Füreder, as he is known in private life, is a musician, painter, author, and visionary who has constantly reinvented himself since the beginning as a pioneer of electroswing.

His current project "Artifact" also marks a kind of reinvention. The album unfolds a cinematic sound world where orchestral arrangements meet electronic samples and modern beats. Inspirations range from silent film masters to pop art to 80s synth sounds, and the music oscillates between euphoria and melancholy, familiar harmonies and surprising, darkly threatening moments. Tracks like "Rebel Love," "Six Feet Underground," "Falling Into Time," or "Art Deco" featuring Lana Del Rey showcase the fusion of analog and digital, allowing listeners to dive deep into Stelar's own sound universes.

Parov Stelar's concerts go far beyond classic DJ performances: electronic productions meet live instruments, orchestral fullness, and visual staging. Music is created for him first and foremost for himself, and only then is it shared – an approach that makes radical authenticity, artistic freedom, and the joy of reinterpretation palpable.

An additional dimension is opened up by the exhibition "Leave The Future Behind" at the K-Hof Museum Gmunden: it enters into a dialogue with Stelar's music and opens the doors to his artistic universe. Paintings, drawings, and digital experiments provide insight into the creative source of his compositions. The concert and exhibition merge into a total experience, making Stelar's artistic independence visible. The exhibition will open on Thursday, June 18, 2026, and will be on view until August 16, 2026.
