Guided hike: Kaiserwald

This guided tour takes us from the train station initially along beautiful forest paths towards Tobelbad. Passing the village, we continue through the forest to Dobl, home to the historic broadcasting facility. From here, we will hike in a wide arc through the Kaiserwald back to Premstätten. Meeting point: 09:00 AM at the Premstätten-Tobelbad train station. Trail length: 14 km | Elevation gain: 100 m | Walking time: approximately 4 hours.

The duration of the hike is until around 2:00 PM, followed by a planned stop in Premstätten, with individual return by train or bus. Arrival by public transport: take the S-Bahn from Graz to Premstätten-Tobelbad, return individually from Premstätten. Difficulty level: Hike without special requirements, fitness for approximately 14 kilometers and about 4 hours of walking time is necessary.

Equipment: Good footwear (hiking shoes) required, hiking clothing (layering principle), backpack, possibly hiking poles, drink, snack, no stops during the hike. Costs: €15.00 per person, payable on-site to the guide.

Service: Guided hike with certified mountain guides. Registration: by Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at www.regiongraz.at/wandertouren. The guided hike is organized by the Graz Region Tourism Association in cooperation with hiking guides. Please note that last-minute changes may be possible. Participation is at your own risk.
