We say hello, we are Mrs. Compote.

The sensitive poet Georg Danzer has left us beautiful, timeless, and very entertaining songs. Many of them we have only recently come to know and love. We were intrigued to see what happens when they are sung from a female perspective. To our great delight, we discovered that this role reversal works, allowing us to revive his songs and keep his musical legacy alive.

Georg Danzer's repertoire consists of much more than the well-known hits that are often unfortunately overplayed. Therefore, it is particularly important to us to unearth and present the lesser-known songs as well. In addition to the cheerful entertainment music, we also pay tribute to and interpret Georg Danzer's political and socially critical songs.

Hello, Mrs. Compote consists of band founder Gerhard Pritz on bass, his daughter Aylin Pritz on vocals, ukulele, and guitar, Laura Bein on vocals and guitar, Kathrin Tschiderer on vocals, percussion, flute, and saxophone, and Heinz Ruff on accordion.
