Christine Nöstlinger’s poetic miniatures illuminate life in Vienna’s social housing, beyond the Viennese coziness, but with much sympathy for those who stand at the very bottom of the social ladder.
The two popular actors Ursula Strauss (Schnell ermittelt/Oktober November) and Christian Dolezal (Schlawiner/Copstories) read a "Best of" these classics of Viennese dialect poetry in alternating roles and dive into the world of those for whom "it doesn't come together," yet who still get up almost every morning.
It is quirky, sometimes a bit morbid, but mostly very funny.
Accompanied on the zither by the icon of old Viennese folk music, Karl Stirner, known for his performances with Walther Soyka and at the Burgtheater.
