CROSSING STRINGS – Classical Fingerstyle Guitar Duo

From Intersections To Interwoven.
With their first album "Intersections," the crossover guitar duo catapulted themselves "to the top of the European fingerstyle scene" (Concerto 6/22). Following an extensive tour in Australia, they now present "Interwoven" – the duo's new program, which is currently evolving into a new album.

Interwoven, because here the intertwined stories and experiences of the two guitarists Carina Maria Linder (classical guitar, vocals) and Markus Schlesinger (fingerstyle guitar, vocals) take center stage.

While in their debut work they met at their stylistic and musical intersections, their music can now be described as woven together… woven into a completely new style that blurs the boundaries of classical, jazz, and world music, creating its own musical universe.

During their first tour in Australia, the musicians were inspired by the idea that it is the interconnectedness and exchange among individuals that transforms them into a fruitful and constructive whole, and they decided to dedicate an entire recording to this concept. On their journey, Linder and Schlesinger present both new and old songs – so from Intersections to Interwoven!
