Pleyel museum tour and musical samples on the historical instrument with pianist Doris Kitzmantel, along with wine hiking with loess guide Fritz Genger.

The afternoon begins with an exclusive tour of the Pleyel Museum. At the original Pleyel piano, Doris Kitzmantel – a versatile pianist and vice president of the International Pleyel Society – brings the music of Ignaz Joseph Pleyel (1757–1831) and his contemporaries to life in an impressive way. Immerse yourself in fascinating stories about the life and work of the once most performed composer and piano maker, born in Ruppersthal. Look forward to exciting insights, tales, and beautiful music.

Afterwards, local guide Fritz Genger, a trained cellar lane guide and wine expert, will pick up the guests and lead them through vineyards and loess gorges, to the most beautiful cellar in the area where visitors can expect a welcome drink and a small gift. During this wine hike, the guide shares exciting and interesting stories about the area, the Wagram region and its wines, the cellar lanes, as well as topics like earth cellars and mammoths. To conclude the varied afternoon, guests will participate in a professionally guided wine tasting featuring 5-6 quality wines from Wagram. Water and nut bread will be provided.

This short wine hike ends back at the starting point, at the parking lot of the Pleyel Cultural Center.
