OpeRap - Contrast

The musicians Ewa Paprotna and Prince Zeka, both internationally acclaimed singers of high quality, are bringing fresh air to the music world under the name "Contrast": with their new and innovative style "OpeRap" - a blend of classical, pop, hip hop, and Afro-beat - they present a very interesting musical creation.

On this evening, the two will showcase their new repertoire, which is primarily based on original compositions, enriched with classical opera arias such as "Queen of the Night" (W.A. Mozart) or "Barcarolle" (J.J. Offenbach), which are fused with hip hop, reggae, and Afro-soul. Ewa and Zeka thus bridge the gap from classical to urban, singing their songs in various languages such as French, English, Lingala, Swahili, Polish, and German. Their lyrics deal with higher consciousness, living in peace, and the love between people, interspersed with beautiful melodies that go straight to the hearts of the audience.
