The Super Night of the 70s and 80s with and featuring Monti Betond, showcasing the great rockers of the early 70s like Uriah Heep (Lady In Black) and Deep Purple (Smoke On The Water), as well as the colorful, cheerful melodies of the century from Middle Of The Road (Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep), Sailor (A Glass Of Champagne), and ABBA (Waterloo); not to forget the personal heroes of the then very young MONTIs, namely Alvin Stardust (My Coo Ca Choo), Elton John (Crocodile Rock), Monty Python (Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life), and T. Rex (Get It On).

At the beginning of the 80s, creativity was in vogue, as the "New German Wave" swept into the country, bringing names like Cyndi Lauper, The Police, Prince, U2, Eurythmics, Dire Straits, and Paul Young (to name just a few!), who would go on to dominate the charts. And rightly so! Nowadays, a good 40 years later, it sometimes seems unbelievable how quickly time has passed. Especially since one is often tempted to think: "Oh, that was just (yesterday), right?"

In any case, the two MONTI BETON leaders, Thomas and Toni, not only experienced their teenage years in the 70s and 80s but also the founding of a musical community that has since become an indispensable cult factor in the local music scene through the achievement of numerous milestones. Thus, this decade is to be thanked not only in musical terms.
