The Grammy and BRIT Award-winning band Kings of Leon is returning to Austria and will perform on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the WIENER STADTHALLE. Known as one of the biggest alternative rock bands of the last 20 years, Kings of Leon’s impressive tour history includes headlining performances at festivals such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Roskilde, Reading, and Leeds (three times), as well as numerous Lollapaloozas in Berlin, São Paulo, Chicago, and Santiago, to name just a few. Recently, they also set a new attendance record with a fifth sold-out night at the massive Hyde Park in London. After their headlining performance at the Lido Sounds Festival 2024 in Linz, they will return on June 23, 2026, for a headline show at the Wiener Stadthalle.

Since their debut in 2003, Kings of Leon – Caleb (guitar/vocals), Nathan (drums), Jared (bass), and Matthew Followill (guitar) – have released nine albums: Youth & Young Manhood (2003), Aha Shake Heartbreak (2004), Because of the Times (2007), Only by the Night (2008), Come Around Sundown (2010), Mechanical Bull (2013), WALLS (2016), When You See Yourself (2021), Can We Please Have Fun (2024). The band has sold over 20 million albums and nearly 40 million singles worldwide. Their accolades include eight Grammy nominations, three Grammy wins, three NME Awards, two Brit Awards, and one Juno Award.

Just a few weeks ago, Kings of Leon released an EP featuring four new songs. Other recent releases include a "Live in Jersey" single by Zach Bryan featuring Bruce Springsteen and Kings of Leon, where they cover Springsteen's classic "Atlantic City." Several new songs in collaboration with Zach Bryan have also been released prior to this.

Kings of Leon’s early music was a mix of garage, Americana, and alternative rock; their first three albums garnered them a loyal underground fanbase worldwide as well as platinum sales in the UK, Ireland, and Australia. Following the release of their fourth album, Only by the Night, in September 2008, the band achieved remarkable multi-platinum sales globally. The subsequent albums also led to further platinum successes, a series of hits, fan favorites, deep tracks, and headlining slots at the world's most prestigious festivals and concert venues.
