OPENING "Wolfgang Mayerhoffer – On the Beauty of the World"

Photography as landscape – this is perhaps the most fitting description of the work of Wolfgang Mayerhoffer, former head of surgery in Bad Ischl. The exhibition invites you to discover the traditional technique of landscape photography and to immerse yourself in photographs that, through their sharpness, richness of detail, and colorfulness, present our world in a new light. Mayerhoffer's works refreshingly reinterpret one of the oldest photographic genres – landscape photography – and make it clear that professional photography is much more than just capturing a moment quickly.
