Wiener Blond — the duo consisting of Verena Doublier and Sebastian Radon has secured a fixed place in the Austrian music and concert scene since 2012 with their work. They regularly break the boundaries between pop music and cabaret, bridging genres between Viennese songs, hip hop, and singer-songwriter pop. In 2023, the band released their fifth studio album. However, anyone who wants to experience Wiener Blond in all their musical facets should definitely see them perform live on stage! After their spectacular premiere at Theater im Park in the summer of 2025, the two will once again meet under the plane trees and celebrate the music, spirit, and bittersweet patina of the big city together with the Original Wiener Salonensemble and multi-instrumentalist Marc Bruckner. What started 14 years ago as an a cappella beatbox duo has evolved over time into various formations, such as a four-member live band or accompanied by a string ensemble, becoming a fixed star of the Austrian music scene. Their collaboration with the Original Wiener Salonensemble was already nominated for an Amadeus Music Award for the second time in 2024. The common thread of their live performances and studio work is always their original compositions and lyrics with a Viennese twist, as well as their unmistakable two-part harmony. In their songs, they keenly and artistically illuminate all aspects of everyday life in the big city, showing humor and thoughtfulness — and sometimes becoming a bit nostalgic. Wiener Blond may claim not to sing love songs — but they make every crisis danceable!
