MOGLI - THE JUNGLE BOOK (Recommended for families with children aged 5 and up.) The newly composed, wonderful teatro adventure musical from Mödling for the whole family, based on the world-famous story by Rudyard Kipling, is finally coming to Vienna!

Mogli's greatest adventure is about to begin: Shir Khan, the tiger, is roaming the jungle again. But humans also threaten the untouched nature. Fortunately, the brave boy raised by wolves has his loyal friends Baloo the bear and Bagheera the black panther by his side. However, when the wild monkey gang kidnaps Mogli, the whole jungle is turned upside down. Will Mogli manage to save the jungle? A new teatro musical with music by David Schieber and Lena Wiesinger, based on the book by Norbert Holoubek.

Artistic Director Norberto Bertassi: "The destruction of rainforests continues every year, despite so many people warning against it. Therefore, we decided to recompose and bring the musical back to the stage. Mogli saves the rainforest so that many future generations understand how important it is to preserve this wonderful nature."

Teatro has been known and loved for 27 years for bringing world-famous classics to the stage - impressive, humorous, and touching. The professional standard of all teatro productions has been ensured from the beginning by Artistic Director Norberto Bertassi, a former member of the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien.

Teatro is also known for promoting and showcasing many young, very talented performers, earning a reputation as a talent forge. Currently, teatro is excited that long-time teatro performer, Moritz Mausser from Baden, not only played the lead role of Falco in the Vereinigte-Bühnen musical "Rock me Amadeus" but also delivers a fantastic Friedrich of Prussia in "Maria Theresia." Nicolas Vinzenz and Lili Beetz are also popular teatro performers who are now successfully studying at MUK Vienna.
