How to deal with the fact that there are things in a couple's relationship that are uncomfortable for one or both partners to discuss? Things that one is unsure are relevant enough to even bring up. Elfriede Hammerl has been writing a column for profil for many years. In addition, she writes short stories, novels, plays, and screenplays. In Germany, she became known for her screenplay for the television film "Try It with a Younger Man" (starring Senta Berger) and her columns in stern, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, and Marie Claire. The author has received numerous awards for her work, including the Journalism Award of the City of Vienna, the Women's Prize of the City of Vienna, the Concordia Prize (in the category of Human Rights), the Johanna Dohnal Recognition, and the Kurt Vorhofer Prize.
