Gate at 7: #Redemption | Where Heaven is Open

In addition to the world premiere of the composition commissioned for this concert by Tanja Elisa Glinsner, AN_KUNFT or "no ray leads further..." for voice and orchestra, Webenaus' "Vergebliches Ständchen" will likely be heard for the first time in the concert hall about 100 years (!) after its creation. Beethoven, in his 5th Symphony, masterfully opens the gate to light, culminating in a triumphant C major across the four movements – pure redemption.

"As a child, I found great joy in building something together. I glued small elements together with an Uhu stick, which then formed a piece for violin. Those were my first attempts at composition." Where these initial attempts have led the now-established composer Tanja Elisa Glinsner is revealed in a conversation with Klaus Christa.
