After years on stage, countless festival appearances, and several celebrated albums, Steaming Satellites have long been considered fixed stars in the Austrian music scene. With their unmistakable sound that blends indie rock, psychedelic influences, and a touch of electronic expansiveness, the band has built a loyal fan base—not only in the German-speaking world but also beyond.
Since their debut album "Neurotic Handshake at the Local Clown Party" (2006), Steaming Satellites have toured across Europe and the USA. Their music has not only been celebrated in the charts but has also made its way into the film world, such as with the song "How Dare You!" featured in the soundtrack of the award-winning film "Das finstere Tal."
In their latest album "ANDROMEDA," the band, led by singer/songwriter Max Borchardt, dedicated themselves to their love for Motown, resulting in an emotionally engaging and genre-crossing potpourri.
