Farmers' market

The weekly market takes place every Wednesday and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Every Wednesday and Saturday, the Waldkirch marketplace comes alive. It's market day, and local producers and vendors meet with buyers, strollers, and connoisseurs. You can almost smell the freshness here, as fruits and vegetables, bread, ham, jam, eggs, meat, cheese, and more have all come from the region and made their way to the market via short routes, in the spirit of Cittaslow. Even after shopping is done, people like to linger for a chat, to see and be seen, to listen and be heard. Just as it should be at a true market. The weekly market is always on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
