Schöntal Christmas Market

Look forward to enchanting Advent atmosphere in the historic setting of the Schöntal Monastery in the Jagst Valley. When the monastery courtyard in Schöntal shines with sparkling lights, the Christmas market opens its doors on the second Advent weekend. In addition to a diverse selection of culinary and artisanal offerings, a special supporting program awaits you in this beautiful setting (see document "Flyer with Program"). Discover various concerts, exhibitions, craft activities, and music groups, and let yourself be delighted by the diverse children's and family program. A highlight is the Knurps Puppet Theater from Möckmühl, which will be present on both days. Furthermore, you will experience local craftsmanship up close: intricate bobbin lace and weaving, artistic basket weaving, floristry, and woodturning, or lovingly carved wooden figures – there is something for every taste here. Additionally, delicious specialties directly from the producer are waiting for you. The Abt-Knittel-Keller in the education center, the forest school, and the local gastronomy will open their doors and pamper you with culinary delights in a historic environment. On both days, St. Nicholas will visit the Christmas market and bring surprises for young and old alike. For a convenient arrival, a shuttle bus service has been arranged from all surrounding villages.
