A festival like in great-grandmother's times at the Hohenlohe Open-Air Museum Wackershofen. On September 27 and 28, 2025, when smoke rises from the chimneys above the museum and the air is filled with the scent of "Blooz" and fresh bread, it’s time for the Oven Festival again. In many historical ovens of the museum buildings, various versions of these regional specialties will be baked. The Oven Festival is also a special kind of market where many things can be bought or experienced: a wide range of regional products, artisans showcase their work, young animals are awarded prizes, music is played, jugglers and traditional dance groups perform to entertain the audience. During the Oven Festival, of course, all the historical buildings on the museum grounds are open for visitors to explore.
