The Southside Festival, briefly known as "Das Southside," is a genre-spanning festival that takes place every year for three days in June in Neuhausen ob Eck in the Donaubergland region of southern Germany. Around 60,000 guests are expected to attend the festival. The twin festivals in Scheeßel and Neuhausen ob Eck in June are annually the venue for several exclusive shows by national and international music legends. Especially in the southern Donaubergland area around Tuttlingen, there is a state of emergency for several days. Many music fans travel from all over Germany and neighboring countries to camp on the festival grounds in the industrial park on the plateau near Neuhausen ob Eck.
