Workshop at the Atelier Heidi Reubelt in Horn Monotypes are a fascinating blend of painterly printing and drawing. Since they are very easy to create, they are the ideal medium for experimentation. As the name MONO-type suggests, each print is a unique piece. Even with repeated printing, exciting variations arise that are not identical to the previous one. In combination with painting or collage techniques, wonderful works can be created, even without extensive artistic background. The course fee includes oil printing ink (black) and ten sheets of Japanese paper (approximately A3 size). Each additional sheet costs €0.40. Drawing nature studies will help us find the motifs and sharpen our perception. If anyone still has a roller from linocut from school at home, please bring it along.
