Traditional Christmas Market of the Community in the Center of Gaienhofen

More than two dozen exhibitors have registered to offer visitors handicrafts, floral arrangements, jewelry, knitted items, useful and beautiful goods, as well as savory and sweet treats and warming beverages. The appropriate atmosphere will be provided by the diligent staff of the municipal works department, the youth music school, kindergarten children, and the Hemmenhofen community band. The visit of St. Nicholas and Knecht Ruprecht has also been announced, surely bringing sweets for the well-behaved children. Last but not least, this year, a delegation from our partner community Saint-Georges-de-Didonne will once again make the long journey with fresh oysters to nurture and deepen the friendship between our communities, for which we would like to extend our special thanks to our friends.
