From May to October, there are popular time travels with the "Gatekeeper's Wife," who encounters other contemporaries in medieval Waldkirch. During this city tour of a slightly different kind, the wife of the gatekeeper at the Lower Gate not only shares a wealth of knowledge about the city's history and life in earlier times, but also repeatedly meets contemporaries from the 16th century, leading to entertaining and enlightening dialogues. In this way, many forgotten aspects come to life in an impressive and tangible manner for the visitors.
