Castle Concert with Henriette Gärtner

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, the internationally renowned concert pianist Henriette Gärtner, hailing from the region, will perform two concerts at Schloss Meßkirch: a matinee at 11:00 AM and a piano evening at 5:00 PM. The program for the concerts in Meßkirch is titled "Hommage," featuring two prominent composers at its center: Johann Sebastian Bach and Ludwig van Beethoven. From Bach, alongside the elegant Partita No. 1 in B major, arrangements will also be performed, including Bach's transcription of the Oboe Concerto in D minor BWV 974 by Alessandro Marcello, as well as Carl Tausig's magnificent transcription of the Organ Toccata in D minor BWV 565 by J.S. Bach. Beethoven's grand Sonata No. 30 in E major Op. 109 will be another highlight.
