Mushrooms in the Cycle of Nature with Mushroom Expert Wolfgang Decrusch. Mushrooms are indispensable in the natural ecosystem. Some species are a delicate addition to the kitchen, but ignorance and carelessness can quickly spoil an entire meal or lead to serious consequences from poisoning. Program: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Mushroom consultation with an introduction to the characteristics of mushrooms. Diploma biologist and mushroom expert Wolfgang Decrusch will provide an overview of the characteristics of mushrooms and assist in distinguishing edible from inedible or toxic mushrooms. Following the mushroom consultation, a mushroom tour will be offered at 3:30 PM (cost €10, total cost for participating in both: €15). Weather-appropriate clothing and footwear (long pants, sturdy shoes), as well as mosquito and sun protection, are recommended.
