Children's Festival at the Mills

A participatory program by children for children, organized by the Achern service clubs Lions and Kiwanis. Background of the children’s festival: The two Achern service clubs, Kiwanis and Lions, are united by their commitment to children. Lions supports regional schools through the “Klasse 2000” program, while Kiwanis offers the “Fördern und Fordern” program, job application training, tutoring, exam preparation, and merit awards. Now both clubs would like to host a festival for the whole family at the Mühlenstübel in the Kühnerhof in Sasbach. In case of rain or bad weather, the festival will be canceled What: - Various food stations - Performances by kindergartens, schools, and clubs - Children’s program and game stations with quizzes, pumpkin carving, - schoolyard games, and much more. We want to take this opportunity to - reflect on the things that used to bring us so much fun and joy. - Mill tour - Meet-and-greet booths with the Lions and Kiwanis—let’s get to know each other Getting there: Due to limited parking, please walk or bike if possible. Why: With this festival, we want to reflect on time-honored traditions—especially in this digital age—and experience games that can be played indoors and outdoors with very simple materials. We want to give you the opportunity to raise money for yourselves We want to offer children and teens the chance to showcase their talents through educational performances that are vital for personal development and, above all, make children—as well as parents and grandparents—proud. We’d like to offer the chance to learn more about our club life and our project. 100% of the proceeds from the event will benefit children and schools in the region.
