Children's Festival in the Mills

Participation program by children for children with the service clubs Lions and Kiwanis from Achern. Fairy tale time with MelesMeles on the children's stage. Background of the children's festival: The two service clubs from Achern, Kiwanis and Lions, are united by their care for children. Lions support regional schools with the promotion of "Class 2000," while Kiwanis focuses on the program "Encouraging and Demanding," applicant training, tutoring, exam preparation, and scholarships. Now, both clubs want to organize a festival for the whole family at Mühlenstübel in Kühnerhof in Sasbach. The festival will be canceled in case of rain and bad weather. What: ▪ Various culinary stations ▪ Performances by kindergartens, schools, and clubs ▪ Children's program and play stations with quizzes, pumpkin carving, playground games, and much more. We want to reflect on the things that used to bring us a lot of fun and joy. ▪ Mill tour ▪ Meeting stands with Lions and Kiwanis – let’s get to know each other. Arrival: Due to limited parking, please come by foot or by bike if possible. Why: We want to use this festival, especially in this digital age, to reflect on tried-and-true traditions and experience games that can be played with very simple means both indoors and outdoors. We want to give you the opportunity to raise money for yourselves. We want to offer children and young people the chance to showcase their abilities through pedagogically valuable performances that are important for personal development and, above all, make children, but also parents and grandparents, proud. We want to provide the opportunity to learn more about our club life and our projects. The proceeds from the event will benefit children and schools in the region 100%.
