Opening of the Liebelsberg water tower

Visitors have the opportunity to climb the 30-meter-high water tower and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Teinach Valley. The Liebelsberg Water Tower has become a popular tourist attraction. The tower is a favorite viewpoint for hiking groups. Standing 30 meters tall, the tower rises well above the surrounding landscape and offers a magnificent panoramic view of the historic town of Neubulach, the idyllic Teinach Valley, and the forested heights of the Northern Black Forest. On particularly clear and sunny days, the view even extends as far as the Swabian Alb—a panorama that never fails to delight visitors. The water tower in Liebelsberg is far more than just a technical structure—it is the town’s landmark, visible from afar, and a vital component of Neubulach’s water supply. Perched high above the Teinach Valley, the striking tower has shaped the landscape for decades. The water tower was built between 1966 and 1967, and its official inauguration took place in 1968. It is located next to the elevated tank at the cemetery on the heights of Liebelsberg.  In addition to its significance as a lookout point, the water tower continues to fulfill an important technical function to this day. With a capacity of 100 cubic meters, it ensures that the necessary pressure is maintained in the pipeline network. This allows water to flow reliably to all residential areas of the city and its neighborhoods.
