"Raunächte" translates to "Twelve Nights" or "The Twelve Nights" in English. It refers to the period between Christmas and Epiphany, traditionally considered a time of reflection, folklore, and various customs in German-speaking regions.

The time between the years, the Rauhnächte, is attributed a very special and also sacred significance.
